March 6, 2012 Board Meeting Agenda Item #28 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #12-0170 FOR ASPHALT SURFACES - REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE Description Bids to provide 'Asphalt Surfaces - Repair and Maintenance' were received from four vendors on January 26, 2012.  The bid of Asphalt Maintenance was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications based on a sealed scenario.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of Asphalt Maintenance to provide 'Asphalt Surfaces - Repair and Maintenance' in an amount not to exceed $150,000, be approved for award and purchase.
